Start here…
This is my introductory post. I love art, making jewelry, making lamp work glass beads, drawing, mixed media, writing, and being creative. I love to share my journey and I love to learn about other people’s journeys. My story has twists and turns, it has light and darkness and then light. It is mainly about how I have learned to live a life that is fun and rewarding, but most importantly uniquely mine. I have found that how I experience life has been a direct reflection on how I look at myself, how I treat myself, and most importantly what I believe about myself.
Born - 1965
Live in Southern California
Married 22 years this September - husband Eddie
Two children, son - Edward and daughter Elleyse
I love airplanes. I took flying lessons in my 20’s, I soloed one time!! Amazing experience, I was fortunate to have a kind and knowledgeable teacher and so I had some magical times up in the sky.
I love the ocean and was certified in SCUBA in my 20’s and went to Cozumel for two weeks, back then Cozumel was the 3rd best place in the world to scuba dive.
My 30’s were all about starting my family. I am grateful and feel blessed to have a wonderful husband and kids.
My 40’s wake up time. My kids had major health issues and I was not able to get the help we needed from Western medicine. I had to dive in deep to help them. In the end it was my children who helped me to realize my gifts and begin to utilize these gifts.
My 50’s waking up on a deeper level - I have a deeper practice of meditation, mindfulness and I have been blessed to work with healers, mentors, and personal development coaches. I am starting my jewelry business and I am starting a community. A community for art, health, and healing. A community for fun and for collaboration.
If this resonates with you I hope you join us, I hope to share art and resources for health and well being here at Rachel’s Crystal Treasures. Check out my resource page. I will be posting blogs about my experiences with these wonderful people so that you can see if they can help you or maybe someone you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and have a wonderful blessed day!
